'But I can be yours'

A few weeks ago my husband had a job interview up in Charlotte. To make sure he finds the way to that place, we went up there the day before the interview.
Very close to where he is going to work soon we found this big, old, run down building. Actually it is nothing more than one big room, kinda like a huge barn.
The corrugated metal sheets that were used to cover the roof are rusty, some of them are lose and others already gone.
The floor was nothing else than dirt, no trace of the glass that was once between the now distorted metal bars of the large scaled windows.

So what do you think went through the heads of two Silent Hill nuts as we are? Right - "OMG this looks so much like the rooftop of the Lakeview Hotel where James encounters Maria/Mary!"
Two weeks later, on a gloomy, rainy (and of course COLD) day we drove back up there to take some pictures, this here is my favorite.
I edited the gray background into the picture, so it looks like in the game. The grass and trees would kinda ruin the atmosphere

Anyhow, some of you might remember the scene we are showing in this picture, as James encounters Maria at the Lakeview Hotel.
This scene always made me sad, I think it is not right how cold James is when he spurns Maria.


Maria: "James..."
James: "Maria, I'm finished with you!"
Maria: "What?! But... I'm what you wanted! Mary is dead, don't you understand?
She's not coming back. But I can be yours, I'll be here for you forever.
I'll never hurt you like SHE did. So why don't you want me...?"
